It was so much fun logging in tonight and seeing FOUR comments to be approved on the blog! I think I'll respond tonight to the questions and recommendations.
Aubrey, 5-S, stated that she is reading All The Lovely Bad Ones by Mary Downing Hahn. Her comment said, "It is creepy and suspenseful and I just can't put it down!" (I love it when a book is so good that you can't put it down!) Aubrey also stated that Stolen Children by Peg Kehret is also very good! It is a Mark Twain Award Nominee Book.
Connor, 5-S, recommended Go Big or Go Home. He said that it is good so far, but he doesn't want to say too much because he doesn't want to spoil it for anyone. Good Job Connor, always leave them WANTING to read the book!
Aubrey, 5-S, also asked about Judy Young on the Author Visit post. In answer to your questions, I haven't read any of her books entirely. I didn't see the entire presentation, but I did enjoy what I saw of it. I had never heard of her until she was at our school the other day because I typically read chapter books, and she writes picture books. I do recommend checking out her webpage and books in the library.
I know that everyone is going to be bummed that we only have two days of school this week BUT just think of all the free time you will have over the five-day break to READ! I can't wait to hear what everyone is reading! *grin*
Have a GREAT MONDAY!

Dear Ms.Springer,
ReplyDeleteI have a question. What type(s) of genres do you like the most out of all the genres?

Dear Ms.Springer
ReplyDeleteI like what you've done with the blog, it looks really cool. I cant wait until a author visits our school. I want to start reading the hunger games but I going to finish my other book first, I already have the books because of my sister so i dont have to cheek them out.

PS thanks for the pencil!! ;)
