Tonight I logged into the blog, and saw that there were a few questions posted to me from Connor. While I had planned to post these things next week, I think now is a GREAT time to answer these questions.
The first question was "What book are you reading right now?"
I am still reading the fifth installment of "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" with my 5th grade reading group. I read ahead of them, but then I thought it would be fun to read it WITH them. I am enjoying it. Tonight before I go to sleep (I always read before going to sleep) I am starting "Big Nate." One of my students (Orangeheadedkid) loaned it to me!
The second question was "What book do you plan to read next?"
That's a GREAT question. I think my next pick will be "Jump the Cracks." I have seen it on SEVERAL desks throughout the school, and it looks VERY good!
The last question was "How long is the list of books you want to read?"
This is probably the hardest question to answer, since the list is on my desk at school. *grin* I believe there are about ten books on the list so far, and it's still growing! I will post the list in the next few days and see if any of my loyal readers have read them, and what you think of the books!
I want all readers and participants of the blog to know that I am ALWAYS open to new questions, so feel free to post them by going to the COMMENTS link at the bottom of this post. I will do my best to answer your questions daily.
Connor, thanks for the questions. I have one for you, as well as everyone else reading today: What are you reading right now?
Have a SUPER SATURDAY!
*grin*

Hi Ms. Springer,
ReplyDeleteRead Big Nate In A Class By Himself. It's a funny book, and it's similar to the Diary of a Whimpy Kid series. My favorite part of the book was when Nate stuffed his pants with paper towels! I'm excited for the new Big Nate book...Big Nate Strikes Again.

Dear Ms.Springer,
ReplyDeleteI'm reading Go Big or Go Home. It's good so far. I'm not going to tell anything about it though in case someone doesn't want it spoiled.
