BREAK!

Are you enjoying your break from school? I will admit, I am. I absolutely, TOTALLY love being a teacher, but I also love spending time with family and friends. Of course, I also LOVE having time to read a GREAT book over the break too.

Have you ever thought about what makes a book GREAT? I mean, some books are good, and some not-so-good, but sometimes you get your hands on a book that is GREAT. A book that you want EVERYONE to read. Have you been there? Have you experienced that? If you haven't, my heart leaps for you because once you experience that, you're hooked on reading for life!

I have been pondering that question all day today, as I am REALLY enjoying my new book. In fact, it is a book that I want to finish so that I can pass it along to other people!

To me, what makes this book so great is the fact that the author has written it in such a way that I feel as if I am part of the story. I feel like I'm standing there, right next to the main character as he works his way through the new world he is a part of. I feel as if I am feeling what he is feeling, and am actually a part of the story. And, I love that.

I also find myself wondering what is going to happen next, even as I had fun today playing Wii with a friend. I want to know what happens next, and whether or not the main character will survive. *grin* I LOVE READING!
