In the year 2010, I was challenged by a new idea. Have you heard of a New Year's Resolution? Some people make a resolution, or a goal, to do something different at the beginning of each year. I used to make Resolutions at the beginning of each year, but found that I gave up after about two weeks because I wasn't realistic about my goals. Last year, a friend of mine challenged me to choose one word to focus on for the year. Last year, it was KINDNESS and I did a few things to PURPOSELY show kindness to others around me. It was a lot of fun, and I plan on continuing the new things I started last year throughout 2011.
This year my word is HOPE. Have you ever hoped for something? Perhaps for a puppy or a kitten? Maybe it was for a friend or family member to come see you. We all hope for things. And, this year that's my word. HOPE.
So, what is your word for 2011? I would LOVE to hear what words you think would be good to focus on for 2011! It isn't necessarily a goal, just something to focus on for the year. So, go ahead, write in. I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!
*grin*
