WHAT A COOL READING WEEK!!!

Did you enjoy our Reading Celebration Week?

I did! I loved seeing the costumes, having our Spirit Stick passed from class to class, and my favorite part was READING with kids this week! I loved it!!!

I tried to be creative this week. One day was FIND A SPOT AND READ. So I took a KU Shirt and put dot stickers on my shirt!! IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!! Of course, MU fans didn't like it very much! In fact, one student thought it would be funny to make the back of my shirt say "MU" in the stickers. Fortunately, a 6th Grader came to my rescue and made it say "KU" again! *grin* ISN'T THAT GREAT?!!

Aubrey requested a list of books again. I'm surprised, as I put some LONG lists up previously! Aubrey, did you read them all? *grin* Well, I don't have another long list at the moment. I did get three new books for working at the Book Fair last night though. While I won't read them right away, I will tell you the titles of them. They are: IQ Book #2 by Roland Smith, Storm Runners by Roland Smith, and 11 Birthdays by Wendy Mass. Now I'm up to about 7 books on my nightstand! I sure am glad Spring Break is almost here so I can read! *grin*

Finally, I wanted to tell everyone how much fun it was to see everyone at the Book Fair last night! It was fun seeing all of our Sunset Valley Students at the Fair and the books they bought!!! I always enjoy Book Fair Night, and thought that last night's fair was time well-spent!

Now it's time for the WEEKEND! Woohoo!
