SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER!!!

Yesterday was a fun day for us, wasn't it? We had an assembly, and I was AMAZED at all the talent we have at S.V.E.! I wasn't surprised though, we do have some pretty incredible young adults in the building! *grin*

As we watched 6th grade exit the building for the last time, I was SO PROUD of what amazing young adults they have become. I know that some were sad to leave the school, and that is COMPLETELY normal! However, moving on part of life. The 6th graders will be missed, but the S.V.E. staff is looking forward to hearing about all the AMAZING things that those people will go on to do in middle school and high school!

I will be posting, throughout the Summer, the AMAZING Story Vault Stories submitted this week at school. I haven't read them, so I am EXCITED to read the stories and share them with you! Please feel free to write in with your comments at the bottom of each post too!

Tomorrow I plan on posting my list of books I plan to read over the Summer. Have you created a list? If you haven't, you should. Also, I know MANY of you checked out a bag of books from the library so that you can keep reading this summer! That is SO exciting! As always, feel free to write in with your recommendations! I'm ALWAYS on the look out for a new book to read, and I'm sure our loyal readers are as well!

I know I am excited to have school out so I can read more with all the free time I have now! *grin*

Today's the first day of our vacation. I think I'll go read now!
