Wow! Lovin' The Comments!

I'll be honest, one of my favorite things to do right now is check email and see how many comments have been posted for approval on our Reading Blog! I have so many things to post, that I hope I don't forget something. I apologize in advance if I do! :-) These posts aren't in any particular order. After each letter I am posting my own comments!

Dear Ms. Springer,
Thank you for telling us about those books! Now I know what books to check out today when our class goes to the library! I have read Stolen Children and The Mysterious Case Of The Allbright Academy! They are both wonderful and I hope you enjoy them too!

Dear Ms.Springer,
My teacher read "Stolen Children" this year and it was very exciting! I plan to read "The Mysterious Case of the Allbright Academy".

Connor,
You will need to let me know what you think of The AllBright Academy Book! I heard that your teacher read Stolen Children, and Orangeheadedkid seemed to like it too! Thanks for the recommendation!

Ms. Springer

I am reading the lost hero. It is the best book i ever read. So I hope you read it.

Jake,
WELCOME TO THE BLOG! I'm glad you read the blog and posted! Lost Hero is pretty good, huh? Well, that's good to know. I added it to my list of books to read since you suggested it! I will admit, I'm not much of a Percy Jackson Fan, but will try it since you said it was the best book you have ever read!

Dear Ms.Springer,
I have a question. What type(s) of genres do you like the most out of all the genres?
Connor
5-S

Connor,
Oh! I love this kind of question! Hum, that's a tough question to answer because I like so many books! I like fiction more than non-fiction, that's for sure! I like realistic fiction, books about dogs, and humorous books. I think my preferences vary depending upon what's going on. For example, I liked The Hunger Games Series a lot, but I don't typically like books with death in it. So, it just sort of depends. I also like to read autobiographies sometimes, depending upon who wrote the book. I don't like fantasy or horror books. (I hate nightmares! *grin*) Sometimes I like Science Fiction, but it just depends on the story line.

It may seem odd to hear this from an adult, but I prefer to read kid's stories to stories written for adults. I think that's because I have such a big heart for kids.

What is your favorite book genre?

Thanks for asking, Connor!

Ms. Springer

Dear Ms. Springer,
I finished All The Lovely Bad Ones and I think you should add it to your list to read because it's so good! I would reccomend it to anyone who likes ghost or creepy books! Enjoy!

Dear Aubrey,
I just added All The Lovely Bad Ones to my list! I will admit, scary and/or creepy books are not what I typically read, but will try it just because you recommended it! Thanks for the recommendation!

Dear Aubrey,
I read The Hunger Games and REALLY liked it! I went on to read the whole series. It was a really good series for older kids!

Ms.Springer
Thanks for that info. What grade did she come to see?

Dear Aubrey,
Judy Young came and spoke to the fourth grade since they study Missouri so much. *grin*

Dear Ms.Springer,
Do you know if theres going to be any more author visits this year?
Connor

Dear Connor,
I am not sure. My guess would be YES because Mrs. Scott is so good at bringing authors to our school, but that's just a guess. I will email her and ask. That's a really good question, and I'm glad you asked it because I am curious about that too!

Ms. Springer

Ms. Springer,
I agree with Connor! Thanks for all your hard work!

Dear Aubrey,
Thanks for the nice comment. I am REALLY enjoying this blog a lot. I am getting a lot of books added to my list, and I am enjoying getting to know you all as readers, not just kids in a classroom. THANKS FOR POSTING!
