The Leanin' Dog ****

I have a BOOK REVIEW tonight! I LOVE book reviews. In fact, I would LOVE to have some book reviews from our Loyal Readers! That would be AWESOME!

I just finished the book The Leanin' Dog by K.A. Nuzum. I give it four out of five stars. It was quite good. It is about a girl whose Mom dies, and a dog comes along and becomes her friend. I don't want to say too much just because I don't want to give it away, but I DO recommend this book for you to read. It is a really heart-warming story. Honestly, I love dogs, so that was what initially got me into it, but as the book progressed, I really liked the little girl, Dessa. This book is nominated for the Mark Twain Award, and I recommend you read it!

The Leanin' Dog is a very good book. I will admit, I don't typically enjoy Historical Fiction, but this book is worth the nominee for the Mark Twain Award!
