Okay, so this is a reading blog, so I thought I'd share a little story with you tonight...
Did you hear about the fun I had with Mrs. Schneider's Class? Well, okay, I need to share the story correctly here. Let me backtrack a little.
On Thursday I was walking out of the building, and Ms. Russell said, "Good-bye" to me from her desk. I stopped outside her door and made small chit-chat with her. I don't know if you've noticed or not, but Ms. Russell has some REALLY cool KU decorations outside her classroom door. I am also a KU fan, so I have always enjoyed seeing her decorations outside her door. Well, during our chat, she pointed out to me what Mrs. Schneider's Class had done to her small KU flag. They had covered it with an MU flag that they had made!!! That's not right, is it? So, we decided to have some fun.
We decided to go into Mrs. Schneider's room and let them know that KU is the better team! So, we hung up my KU Jayhawks flag and decorated the white-board with KU stuff. It was BEAUTIFUL! That was on Thursday Night, after school.
Friday I went into Mrs. Schneider's room to see how the kids liked the flag, and they told me I have to do something for them in order to get my flag back! Can you believe that? They want me to do something in order to get what I OWN back? Silly people!
It's awful. Guess what I have to do? The Orange-Headed Kid in Mrs. Schneider's class told me....
I HAVE TO WEAR AN MU SHIRT TO SCHOOL!
That's right, unless I wear an MU Shirt, I don't get it back!
Hum....I guess I'll have to wear the shirt.
However, the KU/MU mini-battle between Mrs. Schneider's Class and me is NOT OVER! *grin*
GO JAYHAWKS!
*grin*
