Snow Day #1

Did you fight tears this morning when you found out you weren't going to have school today? I am sure several of you did. *grin*

As for me, the phone rang at 5am, and I was SO happy. I turned off my alarm clock and went back to sleep! While I didn't sleep in REALLY late, it was about 9:00 when I awoke. On a regular school day I would have gotten up a little before 7, so that was sleeping in for me!

I have actually spent the day doing school-related stuff. I don't mind because I will admit I have watched a couple movies while I have worked.

My favorite part of today was taking Jay out in the snow. About 2pm, we went outside. He LOVES snow. He hates being cold though, so we weren't outside very long, but it sure was fun! I also took my ruler outside because I was curious about how much snow there was on the ground. I measured by my tree (away from snow drifts) and I had 4.5 inches of snow on my lawn! And it was still snowing!!! I loved it!

The snow looked SO pretty! I almost hated to walk on it, but I will admit it was cute seeing Jay dive into the snow. His little nose was covered with snow and it was so cute! The amazing part is that the snow prints are now covered with new snow! I love it!

Tomorrow we have been given another Snow Day! I am so excited! My goal is to get all my schoolwork done tonight so that I can relax tomorrow!

I should state, I LOVE MY JOB! I really do!

I also love cuddling with my pup and lounging around the house too!
