A few days ago, Connor asked me how many books are on my list of books I want to read. I had to guess because my list was at school, and I was blogging from home. I have the list in front of me, and there are now eleven books on the list! I thought I would post the list, so that the Loyal Readers of the Blog could post comments on my book choices.
These books are not in any particular order:
1. Flawed Dogs
2. So. Be. It.
3. Deep Down Popular by Phoebe Stone
4. Jump The Cracks by Stacy DeKeyser
5. The Mysterious Case Of The AllBright Academy
6. Stolen Children
7. Schooled by Gordan Korman
8. The Kid In The Red Jacket
9. Shark Girl
10. Flashcards Of My Life By Charise Mericle Harper
11. Snakehead
12. Benjamin Pratt And The Keepers Of The School by Andrew Clements
I know what you're thinking, "You didn't write the author's name on each book!" You're right! As I walk through classrooms at school, I simply write down the titles on my list. I know that I can look up the authors when it's time to check-out the books! It's a weird strategy, but one that works for me. (It might work for you too!)
Today I went into our FABULOUS library at S.V.E. and checked out Jump The Cracks and the Benjamin Pratt book. My logic was that we're about to have five days off school, so I will probably need two books to entertain me over the break!
What do you think? Have you read any of these books? If so, what did you think of them? I would love to hear from you!
As for me, I need to figure out what book to start. Decisions, decisions...
Happy Reading!

Dear Ms. Springer,
ReplyDeleteThank you for telling us about those books! Now I know what books to check out today when our class goes to the library! I have read Stolen Children and The Mysterious Case Of The Allbright Academy! They are both wonderful and I hope you enjoy them too!

Dear Ms.Springer,
ReplyDeleteMy teacher read "Stolen Children" this year and it was very exciting! I plan to read "The Mysterious Case of the Allbright Academy".
